Dear Prospective Civilian Chaplain,
We are glad you are interested in the Chaplaincy and are happy to help you in any way we can. This application packet is specifically designed for prospective chaplains serving in a civilian environment.
Provided here are the Application for Endorsement as Chaplain as well as four copies of the Reference Form. You will be required to provide four (4) references total from two ruling elders and two teaching elders from your presbytery. Also included in this packet is the Sample Letter For Presbytery Endorsements to Chaplaincy Ministry, which should be sent by your Clerk of Presbytery or the Chairman of the appropriate presbytery committee.
As the last step of the process, you will be required to complete a personal interview, which we will help you to arrange. Please let us know when you are ready to do so.
