Congratulations to LAMP Graduate Josh Bailey

LAMP’s Most Recent Graduate

Josh Bailey is LAMP Seminary’s most recent graduate. Since completing the MDiv program with LAMP John has passed all of his Presbytery ordination and committee exams. John is hoping to serve as Senior Pastor at Covenant PCA in Nitro, WV.

Testimony of John’s Experience with LAMP Seminary:

I am very thankful for LAMP Seminary. Quite frankly, I would not have been able to finish seminary if it was not for LAMP Seminary. I had begun seminary and then due to unforeseen financial difficulty resulting from damage to our house a few winters ago, all of our family savings and money set aside for seminary was gone.

I am a former public school teacher, so I had to go back into the classroom full time for two and a half years. I wanted to finish seminary but was not sure how I was going to be able to do it time wise and financially. It was then by God’s grace I discovered LAMP Seminary. My Pastor, John Rollins, was supportive in helping me finish by becoming a facilitator. The set up of classes allowed me to work full time and also take classes that were affordable.

I received a very good education through LAMP Seminary. Each class was challenging and thorough in preparing me and equipping me to be a Pastor, especially a reformed and Presbyterian pastor. I am thankful a seminary like LAMP Seminary is available to men like myself. Being a husband and father to five children I was able to earn a Master’s of Divinity, work full-time and finish without any debt. I am praying God would use me in the future to help other men fulfill their calling. Lord willing I will be able to help train men for the gospel ministry as a facilitator through LAMP Seminary and pass on the blessing I received.

Currently LAMP has over 100 students and 49 Leaning Sites throughout the United States. Contact LAMP Seminary at (954) 816-5813 or bkelso@LAMPseminary.org for more information.
