In support of Mission to North America, the PRCC offers resources for ministry to our Military and Veterans. Under the direction and vision of Dr. Jim Carter, Dr. Dwight Horn has been called to empower this effort and the PRCC arm of Military & Veteran ministry (MVM). He brings a wealth of experience, having retired in 2023 after 28 years in the Navy as a Chaplain. During this time, he served on Naval ships in support of Gulf War operations, spent time on the frontlines of combat with Marines, and was selected to be in many critical billets, most notably as the Deputy Chaplain to the Marine Corps and on a Presidential Task Force devoted to Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. He also provided training and seminars on military ethics, and has written a book on war, Emasculating Warriors, a Nation at War with its Warriors (ISBN: 978-1792984433). Additionally, he published several articles on various topics related to military service. His education includes a D.Min. (Westminster), M.Div. (TEDS), M.A. (Vanderbilt), and Th.M. (Berkeley GTU).
