Job Title: Pastor – Church Revitalizer
Job Description: Preaching on Sunday mornings at two country churches 22 miles apart, one service at 9:00 and the other at 11:00. In addition, the job requires engaging with people throughout the two communities with the goal of revitalizing the two churches. Also includes other ministerial duties such as weddings, funerals, etc. as they come up.
Paid or Volunteer: Position would start as part-time with payment of $350 per week, with the possibility of additional help from Grace Presbytery.
Housing: Manse provided, located about 1 mile from the Philadelphus PCA.
Special Qualifications: Must be ordained minister, perhaps retired, who can support himself, as churches are not now able to support a full-time pastor.
Hours per Week: Could become a full-time paid position when the churches can support it.
Worksite Location (in person, virtual, etc.): In person, preaching weekly at each church, and getting out into the communities to invite people to church and build up membership.
Expected Length of Need: The goal is to have a permanent pastor.

Two small, rural churches, one established in 1821, each with 7-10 regular attendees. They are composed of mostly older members and some middle-aged members in the community but not now attending. There is a possibility that the two churches could be yoked together as they were at one time until 1977.
