The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy

The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy is an intentional and proactive attempt to see generations of reformed ethnic minority Teaching Elders, Ruling Elders, church staff and missionaries raised up in the Presbyterian Church in America.

The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy will help underwrite the cost of the training, mentoring and development of ethnic minority leadership in the PCA through partnership with churches and presbyteries.

There are two application tracks available for candidate nominees; The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy Ordination Track and The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy Non-Ordination Track.

  1. Ethnic minority men who are called to be candidates for the gospel ministry are eligible for nomination for The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy Ordination Track.  The candidate nominee for the Seminary Tuition Subsidy Ordination Track will be a member of the Church in full communion who, believing himself to be called to preach the Gospel, submitting himself to and under the care and guidance of the Presbytery in his course of study and of practical training to prepare himself for this office.  The candidate nominee must be pursuing ordination in the PCA.For the ordination track, the subsidy is specifically for approved programs that meet Uniformed Curriculum Guidelines for ordination in the PCA.
  2. Both ethnic minority men and women, who are pursuing a non-ordained ministry position in a PCA church are eligible for nomination for The PCA Unity Fund Seminary Tuition Subsidy Non-Ordination Track.   Although the candidate nominee does not need to be under the care of a presbytery, they must be under the supervision of a Church Session or oversight body of a church plant.  The candidate nominee must be pursuing a non-ordained ministry position in the PCA.For the non-ordained track, this subsidy is specifically for approved theological and biblical training programs.
